Pulled out a box of stamps today and just grabbed this one. Coloring in the lines is not my favorite thing to do that's why I LOVE mixed media LOL however, I did take a few minutes and colored this. It turned out ok. I think I have enough Christmas cards to complete my mailing list. I just love Christmas! This year will be a bit different and hard now that we are not in Ohio, but we know God's got a plan. Merry Christmas everyone!!

Cardz TV Cards
Hey everyone! I've been so busy substitute teaching that my crafting has fallen behind again. I was a bit under the weather and just wanted to surf my old files and came across a lady Mary, that does videos at Cardz TV on Youtube. I just love all her cards because she uses her Cricut all the time. So, I dusted mine off and did two of her 12 Days of Christmas for this year and I'm loving them. Hope you do too. Make sure to check her out!
I'll be making some of her other designs for sure so easy and fun! Thanks Mary!!

SHE canvas
Well, I've had this stencil for a long time the "SHE" from donna downey. I did a canvas with it a long time ago but gave it as a gift to friend Erin. So, I needed to fill the empty spot. I pulled up again the Artist Gang youtube and loved what I found. This is my version, using the Dylusions stencil as my girl. Hope you enjoy. Please check out Donna's blog and artist gang they rock!!!

What is unseen...
This is yet another canvas that I used Donna Downey stencils and so many mediums I can't list them all. When I do mixed media, I don't have a plan whatever happens happens, so that's why I don't know what all I used. LOL
I know for sure the glasses are a stencil that I fell in love with that Donna Downey designed. The design was inspired by one of her Artist Gang girls but I apologize I didn't remember her name. You can check out her You Tube and you'll see where I got the inspiration. All of those artist are AWESOME!! thanks for sharing your talent with us.

Trying to Catch UP!
Hi everyone the past four weeks have been one miracle after another for us. I was able to go to Cincinnati and take care of my friends children while her husband was out of the country. It was such a blessing for me. I came home and started substituting for the Oak Ridge Schools and oh my gosh!! I LOVE LOVE IT!! I am looking forward to doing more that is for sure. I'm scheduled for hand surgery December 12 so I'll be slowed a little not sure if I'll be able to do my art, it's my left hand and I'm right handed so we'll see. Just have to watch that I don't get paint on the dressing and then the cast or my DR will have my head LOL!!
I was able to complete some canvas work I'll share over the next few days.
The first one was inspired by NIKA IN WONDERLAND OH MY GOSH!! I love all her stuff. She works in a journal and uses Tim Holtz stamps and dies which is one of my favs. I decided to dot his one and take it to class with me and sit on the table before reading time to start by telling one of my MRS.BOPPIN'S stories.
Please keep East Tennessee in your prayers with all the fires, tornado and tragic news here we sure can use your prayers and if you feel lead please donate to our RED CROSS, they have a huge job to do and are already doing what I could never imagine as far as helping and getting there so quick to assist the people of all the counties that were affected. We appreciate them so very much!!
Have a blessed day!!!!
p.s. Steve and I are fine! Blessed beyond measure.

Hope you enjoy seeing my new experience. Don't think it's going to become a habit HAHAHA

Devotional Art Card
DAC#11
Well this is number 11... not my favorite I should have made the words larger for such a busy background.
Here's what it reads: "Kairos" is Greek word for "defining moments of your life" I read this in the book I'm reading now by Jen Tringale Your Defining Moment. This young lady was in our youth group many years ago in Cincinnati. She was a part of our Inspirations group that did praise and worship with children. She is such an awesome woman and I'm loving her book. Check it out@
