Introducing Project Life by Stampin' Up!

I am soooo excited about this. I started doing Project Life about two years ago. I have 3 completed books and just did the first pages in my 20014. I use to do a scrapbook for each of my grandchildren, but my daughter-in-laws do them for the kids, so I started just doing PL for Steve and I and what we do. Of course, the grandkids will be in there. I'll take some pictures of the pages I've done and then as soon as I get the new SU Project Life goodies I'll share those. I feel like a Scrapbook Class is about to be born!!! Have a great day!

I also made this card for Steve. just thought I'd share. I went to a meeting yesterday to find out what all I need to do to get ready to retire!!! Once I do that the plan is to travel more with Steve on his job assignments and also teach more and more classes!

I wanted to share this card and envelope I made for my hubby who turned 60 yesterday! This is one of those pop up cards you've probably been seeing all over the web. I finally got around to making one and it's a lot easier than I thought. I also made the envelope using my SU envelope maker and then even stamped it up. I used the BIG Wish stamp set and the little do from COOL KID stamp set. We had an awesome dinner at Maggianio's in the party room and 18 family members. They all liked my card which made me feel good too LOL Have a great day I have lots more cards to share that I've been making for my sample boards I display at all my classes. There are still a couple of spots for this Friday.

Easter Treats

We all know Easter and Passover are neither one about bunnies, chicks and candy, however you have to admit these baby chick candy holders are too stink in' cute. I decided that the parents could decide how much candy to give the grandkids, but I just had to do some little thing. So, I made 10 of these little candy holders I saw on YouTube. They will hold one little candy egg.
I used a 7 1/2 x 2 inch yellow card stock, embossed one side with the SU scallop embossing folder, scored it at 3 inches from each end. Then I used the Scallop tag punch on each end, tied white bakers twine for their little "hair" thingy. I used the Owl punch for the eyes, the 1 1/2 circle scallop for the wings and the Boho Blossoms punch for the feet and the beak. DONE! now all I need is the candy. Thanks to Ink Rubber Art for the inspiration! Maybe I'll throw together a quick video to show you how I did it.

No Time For Studio Play



Last night at church (Ambassadors Pointe) we were blessed to have Roddy Chong perform and speak. Oh My Goodness! is he awesome or what!?!? If you get a chance to check out You Tube and watch some of his performances it's a must! He is going to be at the River Hills Church in Loveland Ohio Sunday morning if you get a chance and live close. What a testimony and inspiration. Hope you all have a great day!

BIg Wish

In May I'll be doing a class using the Big Wish stamp set. This is one of the cards that will be on my sample board. The students will make 3 cards and get the stamp set for $25 and I've made at least 12 different card samples for them to take pictures of and have ideas to work from when they get home.
I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set along with the Big Wish set. Love how this one turned out. Have a great day

Easter is Coming

I've been Spring cleaning and pulling out lots of different tools, papers and embellishments. I recently purchased a A7 die cut from Accut and decided it was time to put it to some good use. Okay, some of the other things used were the bunny from Accut, tulips and sentiment from Stampin Up. The eggs were cut using dies from Sizzix. So, you see you can use lots of different goodies to make a really awesome card. I hope you are all having a good day!
