New Organizing and Vinyl Labels

I thought I would share some of the new organizing in the studio. the first picture is new cabinet I got at Ikea. I used my Cricut and vinyl to make the label. The top two drawers are for punches for sure, not sure what I want to put in the others yet. I plan to get another one like this and then a taller one, so we shall see. Next are the one for class projects and the other one is scraps. My very favorite organizing thingy is 3 tiered roll-about also from Ikea. I decided to play with the vinyl a little more and cut out the words. Well that's it for now. One day soon I hope to do a video showing my studio and some of the organizing ideas I've found and come up with. Have a great day!

Documented Life Journal Page

Just thought I would share another page in my Documented Life Project Journal, I'm a bit behind on my pages, which has always been my problem... I have so many projects going that I just can't do a weekly "have to" lol  But I do love the way this page turned out. I have another mixed media page I'm doing that I plan to use as home decor, I'll share when I get it framed. Have a great day!!

HIP HIP HOORAY 2014

I got my Card kit and at first wasn't too impressed... BUT after putting them all together I really like it a lot! I'm planning on getting a couple more and separating them up into gift packets for friend birthdays. Check this out and see what you think.

Add a Page Documented Life Journal Page

I decided to be a part of the Documented Life Project at Art to the 5  http://www.arttothe5th.com . I didn't officially join, I'm just doing it on my own and whatever the challenge for the week is I join it. This one was fun because you had to add a flip page to your journal. I had made a copy of an altered art canvas I did and cut it down to be my add on. I sewed and then used washi tapel. the picture on the left of the picture was inspired by a sermon our Pastor taught on this week.  I'll share other pages as the permits. WOYWW #246

I was so excited ... last night I went to Archiver's to pick up a chair my friend Diane bought. You all know by now that they are going out of business right? Anyway there were only workers in the store and they had some of the fixutres still available. Well, check out the ink pad holder in the background. It's really a holder for dies from Ellison, which was the first reason I thought I wanted it. I have an Accuct and small dies that would be great in there. However, When I sat it down I realized that my Stampinup ink pads would fit sideways in in the slots and it would slide right up to the Ikea tub holders I have hanging on the wall. There's even room for more ink pads! So, of course I was too excited to show you what's on my workspace today. I haven't posted on that sight for about a year and miss seeing what everyone was doing out there. Now, since my desk was clean well..... Oh yeah the cards are ones that I'm putting together using some of the copic images I did several years back when I got my certification and they were just stuffed in a folder. I decided to make cards and share them. I might end up trimming them down to fit in my Project Life Album as an embellishment not sure yet if I want to let them go.LOL

Feel Better Apple Card

That darn old sinus congestion has had me a little behind in videos. Today was a little better so I had to get in the studio and have some fun time!  Hope you all enjoy this quick card. I used the Cricut for the apple, Preserves Cartridge (pa 28) and of course  Stampin Up. Have a great day!

Cute Thanks!

We got this yesterday in the mail and I just had to share. It was made by Abby, our "extra" granddaughter who is 13 yrs. old. She is learning to use the Cricut with her mom. You are wondering why I said "extra"? she is the daughter of a young couple we have know for about 10 years that are like our kids so we consider their children our grandchildren too.  Extended families are such a blessing!!!

New Classes Starting June 27th!!!

Good morning everyone! I'm so excited to start a new class series that will begin June 27th. It's going to be such a great way to not only have fun making your cards, you will also be building your stamp collection for just pennies more than our Stamp-a-stack series.

Here's how it will work:

By joining the Stamp of the Month Class   you will go home with a stamp set and great samples to spur on your own creations. You will make 3 cards in class using you own stamp set, and adhesives. I will supply all the other items needed. You will have to RSVP with payment in advance so I can order  your stamp set and have it at the class for you to use. Doesn't this sound awesome!!
